Additionally, you can enable the "Slow Down in the Middle" option, which slightly changes the boomerang effect. If you want to speed up the animation, increase the speed percentage (for example, if you enter 200% speed, then the animation will play at twice the original input speed), if you want to slow down the animation, decrease the percentage (for example, if you enter 50% speed, then the animation will play at half the original speed). By default, the boomerang speed is equal to the input GIF speed, which is 100% when expressed in percent (see the speed option). Often, the boomerang looks much better if it's played faster or slower, so we also added options to change the boomerang playback speed. The loop options include playing the boomerang GIF only once, playing it a specific number of times, or playing it endlessly forever. The boomerang is looped forever but you can change how many loops the boomerang performs. In the frame selection option, the value "*" means all frames, the value "2-12" means use frames 2 to 12 (inclusive), and the value "1, 3, 5, 7, 11" means use individual odd frames 1, 3, 5, 7, 11. By default, the boomerang is created from all the frames in a GIF but you can select individual frames or a frame range that will be used to create the boomerang. As the original GIF is repeated, the number of frames in the boomerang GIF is double the number of frames in the original GIF. The boomerang effect repeats a video or an animation over and over from the start to the end and back to the start again. This option can also be used to add a background color to the extracted frames of a transparent GIF or change the existing background color. This is a browser-based program that converts animated GIF files into GIFs with the boomerang effect. Often, the GIFs you're working with need color adjustment, so we also added a color replacement option that you can use to replace one color or a spectrum of colors in the GIF with a new color in the extracted PNG. Additionally, you can add extra space around the extracted frames via the padding option. The frames can also be viewed and extracted in reverse order. The framerate is set by changing the display time of frames. With the viewer, you can see the GIF frame by frame at your preferred framerate. The built-in GIF viewer will help you do more accurate frame extraction. The frame numbers make it easy to navigate the sprite grid and they correspond to the ordinal positions of the frames in the animation. You can also add a frame number to any of the four corners of the frame. To create columns of frames, leave the rows option empty. To create rows of frames, leave the columns option empty. This can be achieved by changing the number of rows and columns of the grid in the options. You can also arrange frames in a rectangular grid or draw them in a vertical column. By default, multiple frames are laid out in a horizontal line called a sprite strip or an animation strip. If you enter several frames to extract, for example, 1, 2, 5, or a range 4-8 (that matches frames 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), then the extractor will print all the frames side by side as a single PNG image. To extract a frame, the application pauses the GIF for a brief moment at the specified frame and draws it as a PNG image on the output area canvas. When the frames are played back quickly, they turn into an animation that looks like one continuous movement to the human eye. A GIF file contains a sequence of frames, similar to a movie.
